 Salutations! I am Nita (she/her/hers). I am a Master's level clinical intern. I have been working with youth and adults for over 15 years. 

If you are feeling overwhelmed with life or just need someone to talk with, then you have come to the right place. I know it can be difficult starting your journey with a new therapist, so building a healthy rapport is important to me. A strong client/therapy rapport helps to build trust, respect, and meaningful conversations.

We will work together to create a customized treatment plan that is tailored to fit your unique style. You and I will collaborate to create new coping skills and techniques to better manage not only daily stressors but also life in general. Our focal points may be on the following topics listed below but are not limited:

• Enhance decision-making skills
• Recognizing distorted thinking patterns
• Learn to manage stress with ease
• Enhance problem-solving and conflict resolution
• Strength to change self-defeating habits and behaviors

For the last 18 years, I have worked in the mental health field. I have experience in child trauma, community mental health settings, mobile crisis, school settings, and residential facilities (nursing homes, youth shelters, and group homes). Currently, I hold a master’s degree in Psychology. I am completing my second master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which will be completed Fall of 2023. 

Along with my professional background and education, my lived experiences have created a deep compassion to help others along their journey. I tend to incorporate humor, authenticity, and warmth. I am passionate about helping individuals gain insight into their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

I offer sliding scale therapy sessions- please inquire about rates between $50-$80.
