Hello! Bonjour! I’m Anne (she/her) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor fluent in both French and English. It takes courage to make the decision to embark on this journey and I believe that by doing so, you empower yourself to begin to feel better through counseling.
My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment in which we can work together to address what led you here today. Creating genuine and honest connections with people is very important to me and I do so through active listening, curiosity and humor.
I work from a client-centered, trauma informed approach to therapy. Together we will explore your thoughts, emotions and behavior and develop strategies that help you to achieve your goals and enhance your sense of well-being.
I am trauma focused and trained, and an LBGTQ+ and neuro-divergent affirming therapist and have a great deal of experience in social services with diverse client populations which has greatly influenced my practice. I am passionate about finding the strengths in everyone I work with and will bring that passion to our collaborative therapeutic relationship.
I was brought up in a bilingual household and spent many years living in Europe during which I developed a deep appreciation for the complexity of human experience and the importance of cultural sensitivity in counseling. My culturally responsive background helps me to connect with people. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where everyone feels heard and understood.
I offer individual counseling conducted in both French and English. Whether it's managing anxiety or depression, navigating relationships, therapy for trauma recovery, or adjusting to life transitions, I am here to provide support and guidance to you.
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP).
My scope of practice is as follows:
I accept the following insurance. I am able to offer flexible self-pay options.
- BCBS PPO
- Cigna PPO
- Aetna PPO
Merci et à bientôt! Thank you and hope to see you soon!
